| More than 200 Kindermusik students, families and guests turned
out for Kindermusik with Ms. Annette's annual "Spring
Celebration" on May 12 at Advent Presbyterian Church
in Cordova. Complete with music, dancing, balloons, clowns, face painting and door prizes, the event marked the end of another amazing year. Each year, Annette Morris and her teachers host the celebration thank the families and children they have known and taught during the school term. Anne Mautner of Bartlett is mom to 19-month-old Caroline, a Kindermusik student.

children can learn to the beat with Kindermusik Kindermusik with Ms. Annette & Friends has announced the launch of its new Millington classes of Kindermusik. Kindermusik with Ms. Annette offers a development program in which both children and parents or caregivers learn through music and movement. Those with newborns and children through age 7 can participate in Kindermusik activities - which include jingling bells, pounding drums, floating scarves, and little feet moving in time to music.Annette Morris is the owner and director of Kindermusik with Ms. Annette & Friends. According to her press release, she has been teaching Kindermusik for 14 years and is ranked 20 out of more than 5,000 educators worldwide. Morris said she strongly believes that Kindermusik provides a powerful experience for a child. “The many songs and activities in Kindermusik class enhance a child's total development by strengthening physical, emotional, social and cognitive skills at a very early age,” she said. The fall semester begins September 6. Classes offered this session include “Village,” newborns to 1 year at 3 p.m. on Thursdays; “Our Time,” 1 to 3 years at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursdays; and “Family Time” for parents and children at 11 a.m. on Wednesdays. All classes are 12-week sessions. Classes meet in Millington First United Methodist Church, at 8029 Wilkinsville Road.
